Business Insider: 21 Maps of highly segregated cities in America


I found this utterly fascinating, especially as I live in Boston, a city with deep historical roots regarding racism and segregation. Though there is no legal segregation anymore, social and economic segregation are still very real phenomena, as illustrated here. And whereas in some cities like New York you can see some mixing, others like Detroit are stark- you can essentially see the line at 8 Mile road.
