I’m loving the statistics in this. The message is simple and punchy: for all the political wrangling that happens when BLS data is released, the numbers themselves are highly dependent on the statistical analysis used to make sense of them. The data alone doesn’t tell the story, and people tend to forget (or, outside of the research and analysis sphere, not know at all) how much these numbers are manipulated to make a cogent story.
