Ars Technica: Facebook, Zynga beat wiretap lawsuits

This is exactly what I’m talking about when legal precedent for technology is concerned. I don’t disagree with the ruling, but how is it that wiretapping law is the appropriate precedent here? If lawmakers better understood the communications protocols involved, this suit would not have had to happen.

In the broader scheme of things, Facebook’s privacy practices are still in question. Never forget, you’re the product.
